Cheap airlines Wizzair and Ryanair offer flights from Poland at favorable prices from Wroclaw, Katowice or Warsaw, among others. Rome is one of the more popular Italian destinations. If we go to the center of Rome, our destination will be Termini station - the main railroad station in Rome and the hub between trains and buses. The price for a single ticket to the center is about \u20ac6, and the travel time is about an hour. Detailed information about the timetable and bus ticket prices can be found on the carriers' websites. In practice, let's choose the bus that departs the fastest. Buses to the center depart even every ten minutes or so. We will get to Rome Termini station by their bus directly, without stopping at intermediate stops. The cost of a ticket is \u20ac6. We can buy the ticket directly from the driver or on the carrier's website <a href=\"http:\/\/terravision.eu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Buses run from the airport from 8:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Travel time from Fiumicino Airport to the center is less than an hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The stop of the carrier Terravision is located at Terminal No. 3 (T3). It offers slightly more expensive tickets than Terravision, at \u20ac6.90. Bus Carrier<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Choosing the T.A.M. carrier, we will have access to free Wi-Fi and the ability to charge our phone. The bus stops at the intermediate Ostiense station. A one-way ticket when purchased online costs \u20ac7 (to be purchased on the official website of the carrier <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tambus.it\/en\/rome-fiumicino\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>). We can also buy a ticket at the ticket counter at the T3 terminal and from the driver. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Buses of this line run on average every few dozen minutes. It will be the best option for those going specifically toVatican City. It departs from the airport on average every hour, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:55 p.m. The ticket price when purchased online is \u20ac7 (we can buy them on the official website of the carrier <a href=\"http:\/\/sitbusshuttle.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>). We will also purchase the ticket directly from the driver. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sit Bus Shuttle's bus stop is located at Terminal T3, marked with the number 12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Przewoznik_Cotral\"><\/span>Carrier Cotral<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The bus stop of the Cotral carrier is located at Terminal 1, in the arrivals area. The bus will take you to the city center (Roma Termini train station) and other destinations such as Tiburtina, Cornelia, Magliana, Ostia. Due to the fact that the bus stops at so many stations, the trip may be a bit longer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Buy your ticket already at the airport at authorized kiosks, tobacco stores and from the driver (for an additional fee). We can buy a ticket at the ticket office or online, on the carrier's website <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trenitalia.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trenitalia<\/a>. Also check the train schedule there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To get to the train station after landing and collecting luggage, go to T3 and follow the signs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Leonardo_Express\"><\/span>Leonardo Express<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The Leonardo Express train will get you directly to Roma Termini station in just 32 minutes. The train runs every 30 minutes from 6:08 a.m. to 11:03 p.m. It is a dedicated service for tourists traveling from the airport to the center of Rome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The price for a single one-way ticket is \u20ac14. It is possible to purchase a group of 4 tickets. The price of such a package is then 40\u20ac, instead of 56\u20ac. Children under 4 years old travel for free. In addition, for every adult who has purchased a ticket, there is one child aged 4-12 who can also travel with him for free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Pociag_regionalny\"><\/span>Regional train<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Choosing a regional train we can save a few Euros, as the fare to Termini station will be \u20ac8. Unfortunately, such a trip will be with a change at one station, making the whole trip longer. The regional train will also get us to the other stations in Rome. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The regional train from the airport leaves every 15 minutes on weekdays and every 30 minutes on weekends and holidays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Taksowki\"><\/span>Cabs<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The cab stand is located at the T1 and T3 terminals. Authorized cabs have a white color and the word \"TAXI\" on the roof of the car. They also have the city symbol and license number on the door. Below are sample fixed fares for some directions from the airport:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>- Rome city center: \u20ac50<br>- Magliana: 31\u20ac<br>- Ciampino Airport: 52\u20ac<br>- Tiburtina station: 57\u20ac<br>- Ostiense station: 47\u20ac<br>- Civitavecchia port: 125\u20ac<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These prices can change, so it is worth asking the cab driver before getting into the cab for the final fare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Uber_i_Bolt\"><\/span>Uber and Bolt<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The price for an Uber ride from Fiumicino Airport to the center is a fixed 60\u20ac. There are many popular car rental companies at the airport, such as Avis, Europcar, Goldcar, Hertz and Firefly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your trip to Rome is only a so-called city break, it is not worth renting a car, as it will be most convenient to get around the city by public transportation. You will get there by cab or bus from the T.A.M. carrier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Nocleg_w_Rzymie\"><\/span>Overnight in Rome<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Accommodation in Rome is worth booking in advance, as prices can be high - especially in high season.
