It is also a popular destination, including tourists from Poland. Sicily has a typical Mediterranean climate. The island will be appreciated by tourists looking for beautiful beaches (although these should rather choose Sardinia), fans of sightseeing (you will find here pearls of history), or people who like physical activity (who will probably go to Mount Etna - the largest active volcano in Europe). Sicily delights in every way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are 4 international airports in Sicily (<a href=\"https:\/\/viaitalia.pl\/en\/palermo\/\">Palermo<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/viaitalia.pl\/en\/catania\/\">Catania<\/a>, Trapani and smaller - Comiso) and 2 domestic (Lampedusa and Pantelleria). We can get to the island even for a few dozen zlotys from many cities in Poland. It is located about 30 km from the center of Palermo - the capital of Sicily. The easiest way to get here is with Ryanair airlines from Krakow and Wroclaw). Stops are located outside the terminal, next to the arrivals hall. Buses from the airport run every 30 minutes, and the travel time to the center is 50 minutes. The fare for an adult is \u20ac6. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Pociagiem\"><\/span>By train<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The train station is located at the airport, about a 15-minute walk from the arrivals terminal. The train to the center runs twice an hour, and the cost of the ticket is practically the same as the bus - \u20ac5.9 per adult. The travel time is also the same as the bus - about an hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Taxi\"><\/span>Cab<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>We can also get to the center by cab. The cost of such a ride is about \u20ac50. This can be cost-effective if you are traveling with a family, or have a lot of luggage.
